The History of the Internet part 1

So have you ever wondered where the internet came from? The video in this post gives a little background into what our modern internet was before the age of AOL and CompuServ. I may do more posts about the history the internet and what we take for granted now as far as technology and inter-connectivity.

    Does Part 1 imply that there is a Part 2? Part 1 was very informative. However it fails to mention that Al Gore was the father *of the internet. LoL =)

    Yes, I am in the process of putting together part 2. Unfortunately I haven’t found a video yet, so it may just be a bunch of text, or I may go so far as creating my own video. Part 2 will be released after the “Create your own Linux Gateway” Document is finished. I have been working on it to make it as complete as possible, because every single one I have found has been missing one thing or another.

    I too am disappointed that Al Gore is not mentioned. He obviously invented the internet, he has purple hearts you know. :D
