Hey, your holding it wrong…
June 27th, 2010 by Shadow received No Comments »First, with this post I have created a new category, called Tech Reviews on the site. (Please, hold your applause.)Now, down to business.
If you have read any tech news recently, you may have heard of a new little gadget called the iPhone4. This phone has had more sales voodoo worked on it then Steve Ballmer trying to sell WIndows 1.0.
Now, the iPhone4 has had some hiccups from the start, including the prototype being “misplaced” and finding its way on gizmodo, and the failure of the getting a wifi connection during Steve Job‘s Keynote at WWDC 2010.
Followed by AT&T’s pre-order system collapsing, leaving tons of people unable to order the highly anticipated phone.
Now, I understand those issues really couldn’t be helped. (I mean, who would have thought that anyone would want to blog from their laptops at WWDC, right?) But, if you have had such a shaky start, wouldn’t you want to make sure your launch day was problem free?
Guess no one bothered to actually test the latest batch of iPhones though. There have been reports of yellow screens (which are supposed to clear in a few days, they are claiming it is adhesive that has yet to fully cure.), camera issues, volume button confusion and antenna problems.
Instead of taking a stance of “Opps, there was a flaw in this release, let us fix it”, many Apple sources are taking to “Your not doing it right” approach.

“Antenna problem? What antenna problem? Your just making that up… Oh wait, your not the only one? You all must be holding it wrong, because I am not having an issue.”
You can read more excuses that have been peddled here for all the various problems.
Now before I get all the Apple fanboys and fangirls all fired up telling me to stop bashing the “Little guy” please take a second to read this link. Apple has passed Microsoft as the world’s largest tech company.
As always, feel free to post comments and questions below.
